Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula
The Snowdonia National Park is a magnet for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. The Llyn Peninsula offers quaint coastal towns and some of the best sailing and surfing in Wales.It is not possible, in one visit, to see everything that Llandudno and the surrounding area has to offer. There are narrow-gauge railways, stately homes, heritage centres, country parks, art galleries, museums and craft centres to visit.
Llandudno itself
The area is not only ideal for the adventurous or cultured, but also for those who enjoy shopping, eating and drinking. Llandudno is a popular shopping centre and boasts many of the major multiples and also some more individual shops. There ara also several excellent golf courses within a few mile radius including the closest, Maesdu, North Wales and Conwy. On the seafront Llandudno has a theatre which hosts many top quality productions. There are also many excellent restaurants and lively bars within walking distance of the Osborne House.
